OT: Have we had a Female-in-the-song-title thread?

I don't think this song is about a woman, but the title can be a woman's name and I like the song, so what the heck...

The great James Burton again on Tele in white jacket behind Roy

I like how different each of the 3 versions of this song posted are. I always say if you are going to do a cover you should make it your own.

This is another bluegrass standard that's been done by a bunch of bands. Ricky Skaggs put a different spin on it on one of his albums, his version is haunting!

and then an update to the Ramones song taking it in an entirely different direction

Seattle native that I've seen live a bunch of times. She moved to Texas, then came back to the Northwest but I don't think she tours anymore (or maybe that's temporary).

Kasey Chambers and Shane Nicholson had 2 really good collaboration albums while they were married. They've since split up. Here's a couple songs they did together.

Adeline

One more Kasey song w/out Shane. Her dad playing guitar and her daughter playing tambourine. I like her current touring band, but I sure do miss Ashleigh Dallas on the fiddle!

If one or two Marlenas aren't enough, you can have Three Marlenas. Bob Dylan's kid.
