Slaughter on tenth avenue was a dance in a little-known (at least to me) Lorenz and Hart musical On Your Toes. I first heard it done by Synergy (Larry Fast), and that remains my favorite version.

Although not a musical it is the opening of the Tony Awards show from 2013, and I thought it was fabulous as it represented many of the Broadway shows that year.
