The guy(not me...OK it's me)...who wears sweat pants with no underwear and took a viagra the night before?
I've never experienced thisNot sure its been mentioned but that guy who takes the cleaning spray bottle everywhere he goes and keeps it for himself ignoring the people searching for one.
Going on a bit of a tangent. When I moved down to NC my gift to myself was a small gym in my basement. I needed something to get me motivated and this was it....

That’s incredible. Every time I think about getting my own full rack of weights the immense upfront cost stops me. KudosGoing on a bit of a tangent. When I moved down to NC my gift to myself was a small gym in my basement. I needed something to get me motivated and this was it....

I used Facebook Market. Was able to get a good deal. Did not go with stainless steel or rubber coated ones. Those were expensive. I did the painting myself over The holidays. That’s incredible. Every time I think about getting my own full rack of weights the immense upfront cost stops me. Kudos
Actually when I was like 5 my father took me to the YMCA with him. To enter the pool you were required to be naked. Was talking about this with my wife awhile back and she looked it up. It was the policy at the time.I totally agree and it seems to be a certain demographic. What was it about that generation that makes them so comfortable walking around the lockerroom naked? Did they grow up showering in gym class in front of everyone? Is it a want to show what your packin type thing?

The guy that insists on standing naked and talking while you are sitting on a bench.
The motion of the deadlift is completed when the lifter has stood up straight holding the bar. Of course, there are exercise benefits to adding an eccentric focus to any exercise depending on the goal, but there is no “purpose” of the deadlift that is lost if the weight is just dropped. The lift as it’s strictly defined is over. The deadlift craze is beyond upsetting. I’m all for deadlifts when done properly, but with these clowns trying to show up/show off what they can do they’re not properly placing the barbell back to the floor. Instead they’re slamming...(I mean slamming very loudly) and or just dropping the weights back to floor. Somewhat defeating the purpose of the exercise.

Back in the day, (and maybe still there) UConn had those two relatively small, separate weight rooms with the pool in between. There would almost ALWAYS be a few CrossFit guys in there doing deadlifts, cleans, and jerks outside of the racks while grunting very loudly and unnecessarily slamming weights.
The gym was cramped enough as is.
I never liked those guys.
Well there’s no point of taking up a rack to deadlift unless you’re adding banded resistance, and I wouldn’t want to be confined to the space of a rack if I were doing cleans.Back in the day, (and maybe still there) UConn had those two relatively small, separate weight rooms with the pool in between.
