OT: Gordon Hayward

Never will watch video of this. But how did it happen?

Went up for alley oop left foot stuck on floor bent underneath and snap.

It’s not disrespect, it’s bizarrely misplaced priorities. This is the kind of thing you might put out 5-7 days from now when you know exactly how badly he’s injured, and how he is after surgery.
So he's "scum" because his priority as a prominent sports tv show host is to make sure everyone knows how he thinks this effects the eastern conference? How is his tweet hurting Hayward, or anyone, in any way?

Well he's scum regardless of the distasteful tweet he pressed enter on minutes after a well respected star player had a devastating, career threatening injury.

Incredibly tired of injuries the last couple years. Last year with our men's team, OBJ (not a fan but still gotta throw some prayers up) and now this. Sickening. Wish we could just turn off injuries like in 2k or Madden

Ok. So he never got up for the jam? Planted liftoff foot and SNAP?

Career threatening? Relax, you're acting like he laid their motionless for 5 min. This ain't even Teddy Bridgwater bad. And the tweet made sense for someone payed lots of money to give his opinion on sports. Still don't see where the ill intentions are?

He did, got pushed a bit from the back, so when he came back down he was off balance and bit, and legs were behind him. Went snap when he landed.

Using someone else's injury to push his own personal agenda. I am going to try to avoid seeing anything from this. Good luck, Hayward. Unfortunate for him. Celtics might be winning if he didn't get hurt.
What's his agenda?

Oh is his career not somewhat threatened by this injury? His food was sideways on his ankle for god's sake. How are we supposed to know how it will heal, how rehab will go, etc? Jeez man.

No it's not, this man is not going to retire because of this injury. Even if you want to pretend his game goes severely down hill moving forward, he's got 30 million guaranteed coming his way the next three years. Even then he's in a great spot.

Ummmm it’s really not too crazy to think someone who has that happen may not play in the NBA again

Thanks Yogurt. I can see it now.

Worst sports injury I ever saw was Clint Malarchuk. That was horrific. As far as broken limbs, this one is as bad as it gets. Right up there with Joe Theismann, Paul George and Kevin Ware.

Too bad. Hopefully recovery goes well. Hes eing flown back to boston to get with the best surgeons, i assume.

Well yes that was extremely gruesome. I surely jumped the gun calling this the worst. Honestly might be the second worst I’ve seen live behind Bryce Flory for the Red Sox. I turned the TV on literally seconds after Ware’s injury. This was really really bad though.
