Memphis board seems to think Jalen Green accepted.
What a 360 for Memphis. Last year they couldn’t miss, now they are striking out on all their top targets.

I mean look at that roster!! Obviously it should help them learn how to be pros and go about their business but from a pure draft stock perspective...
This makes sense, they could lose a lot of money in the long run. In college they would be hyped up and play well against guys close in strength and age. The G guys are stronger more experienced and hungry and may make them look bad. I’m going to college.
10 crystal balls for the G league since yesterdayMemphis board seems to think Jalen Green accepted.
theyve only signed one 3* but needed to fill three spots. What a 360 for Memphis. Last year they couldn’t miss, now they are striking out on all their top targets.
The G League is a bunch of grown men fighting for a paycheck. Hardly the place for 18 year olds to develop. I favor allowing kids to go to the NBA directly out of high school or making them stay 2 years in college.
Down goes Kentucky and Calipari's model.
isnt the nba a bunch of even better grown men fighting for a paycheck?
an nba player on a short term deal (which is most of them) doesnt want to get demoted to the g league when their deal expires any more than a g leaguer wants to get cut.The vibe of the NBA and the G League are complete opposites. In many ways, the G League is more intense. Again, it's a bunch of grown men fighting for a paycheck. $7K a week is standard for G League players. These guys play like their lives depend on making it to the NBA, because...they do. Guys in the NBA can ride the pine their whole career and leave with >$10 million in the bank account. I can guarantee you even guys in the NBA you've never heard of aren't hurting, they're doing just fine. Can't say the same about G League guys. I can't believe any 18 would want to do that and even if they did, it's not the best place to develop.
In the words of Will Wade, the G League is making some “strong offers”
Basically the exact opposite of all of this is true. The vibe of the NBA and the G League are complete opposites. In many ways, the G League is more intense.
