I thought Mayweather was now 50-0. But I really don't know for sure, I don't follow boxing.
But I am just guessing that there will be a rematch, there is too much more money that can be made with these "made for PPV events". I thought that the made for UFC PPVs were getting out of hand (Lesnar, Punk, Lashley, McGregor vs Diaz, etc.) but now more fight sport crossover matches seems inevitable, IMO.

Like he "retired" at 49-0?
If the money is there for a rematch, then who knows. However, seeing that Floyd won and apparently won easily (according to the post fight show on Fox), I agree and don't think that he will fight again. But I really don't care either way.

With his $300 million prize, Mayweather may well be over the $1 billion mark when it comes to prize money throughout his storied 50-0 record, according to Bleacher Report, having won $250M against Manny Pacquiao in 2015.
McGregor isn't going home crying, though. He is slated to make $30 million just for showing up plus pay per view earnings, giving him a total that is higher than all of his previous prize money combined.
