You are a wild man!

It was after a sh!tty dinner at a BBQ joint. Every entrée we tried- pulled pork, smoked turkey, brisket and burger were over cooked and under seasoned.

A way too decadent dessert was a good way to rebalance.

Bad BBQ, yuck. How do you like the Ozarks?

I'll put up a summary in the OT: Vacation 2016 thread.

Very quick summary is it is a touristy area with enough variety for a family for 5-7 days. Reasonably priced. I would think anyone living in New England could accomplish the same at Lake Winnipesaukee, Finger Lakes or any other large inland fresh water area.

On vacation at Lake of Ozarks, MO. After dinner it's cement mixer frozen custard.

Bet the house I'm putting caramel, peanut, chocolate and pretzel if available.

The local "thing" is to mix them so thick you can turn them upside down and nothing falls out.

Because they are "Concretes" and they originated at Ted Drewes in St. Louis - tasty stuff.

Underrated ice cream gotta go with Green Tea and Red Bean.

Turkey Hill Chocolate Peanut Butter. PB so thick you gotta hammer it into chunks with the spoon. Leave your tongue pasted to the roof of your mouth PB. Om nom nom.

Agree 200%, to my taste nothing else close. My wife like Breyer's Salted Caramel, really does not like the TH, so we compromised - I have learned to like Salted Caramel:(
