OT-Fantasy Football

Stevenson is better if he's not fumbling. Henderson is the better receiving back, more explosive, but his pass blocking hasn't been as expected. Most of the bigger runs came from two back sets. Henderson on a fake inside handoff to Stevenson and Stevenson on an inside run off a fake to Henderson in motion.

Patriots have faced the most stacked boxes of any team and I think those plays were designed to counter that.
No argument. I'm watching this because I didn't buy the stock price on Henderson for fantasy football this year. People went starry eyed on his kickoff return TD and lost their minds and his draft stock went up way too high IMO.

That said, there just aren't many teams that don't have a full blown timeshare these days. Detroit, Washington, Seattle, Houston, etc, etc. When an RB has a decent FFL day, it's usually because they had a big play, not from 27 carries with 3 yds and a cloud of dust.

Stevenson: 9 rushes, 38 yds, 1 rec, 3 yds = 10 touches for 41 yds
Henderson: 7 rushes, 32 yds, 2 rec, 14 yds = 9 touches for 46 yds
Gibson: 6 rushes, 27 yds, 0 rec, 0 yds = 6 touches for 27 yds

Full blown timeshare, even after the 2 fumbles by Stevenson last week.
Henderson is better, watching the games it is evident. Good game from him, got into the endzone. Hope he keeps getting more opportunities.

Even in Detroit, the backup Montgomery had a huge fantasy day two weeks ago, because he's pretty good and often gets the goal line work rather than Gibbs. This week he didn't do squat and Gibbs had a big week. RBs who put up points reliably week to week are rare.

You keep trying to convince yourself of that but the stats and touches and direction from the coaching staff don't show it.

Well as an unbiased observer it’s apparent he is better. Maybe if he shores up his protection issues he’ll get more run. This wholse conversation was originally about fantasy and TH had a good fantasy day, especially on a per-touch basis. Still good value where OP got him in his draft.

Yeah, again.....I don't see that. Drafted as the 18th RB off the board, he's nowhere close to that yet.

Guys taken well after him?
Tony Pollard RB25
Travis Ettiene RB32
Cam Skattebo RB36
Javonte Williams RB39
Woody Marks RB60

You'd trade any one of those for Henderson in a heartbeat right now.

Again, you’re talking about where he ended up being drafted later on in the summer when he got headwind. Stop veering from the original discussion that I was praising the fella who got TH in the late 7th. That is good value.

Also Pollard has been pretty mid fantasy-wise, I have him and I know. Skatt has been good but got big opportunities from the TT injury. If Rhamondre got hurt, TH would be getting the same type of run.

No smart person is taking Woody Marks ROS over Treveyon.

I'm not sure you've been at this FFL thing very long. Or you're very good.

You've yet to show me one reason Henderson represents good value based on his average draft position citing things like "he should get the majority of the workload" every week, then he doesn't.

Marks had 17 carries for 69 yds and a TD plus 4 catches for 50 yds and another TD receiving yesterday. Better than any game Henderson's had yet and he has an old and recently injured Nick Chubb for competition or Joe Mixon who likely won't play this season. And he was drafted 7-8 rds later than Henderson. I'll bet you he has more rushing yds, receiving yds and TD's than Henderson from this point forward.

Again, try to stay with me here: I said the original poster got good value at the 94th pick. No mention of average draft position. So don’t bring it back up please, I don’t want to clarify that for the 5th time to you.

So, since you wanted to be a bit of a (blank) with your opening statement, I can follow suit. Apparently you are a Pats fan (Can’t tell) but it’s odd how much you are suckling at the teat of Rhamondre when he has fumbling issues that are very apparent, while putting down your teams 2nd round pick who so obviously has a higher ceiling. I don’t have an explanation other than you just want to argue. If that’s it, so be it.

Finally, accusing me of being a Fantasy newbie/not good at it while overreacting to a WOODY MARKS random game is pretty hilarious, they played the Titans for pete’s sake. Get real.

I get it. Average Draft Position is a metric used to identify when a pick is too soon, right on or a value. Henderson's ADP and taking him in the 7th rd has not paid off yet. Not even close....but you keep skating right past that.

Being a Pats fan is irrelevant in a fantasy football thread because I'll take anyone who'll help me win. This interests me because people like you fawned all over one highlight in the preseason (so referencing Marks' actual NFL performance is funny considering the one real Henderson highlight came against camp scrubs).

I'll say it one more time. I'll take Marks, you can have Henderson and I'll bet Marks has better rush yds, receiving yds and total TDs. All 3 have to come through or I lose.

I don’t bet and I am not betting over the internet lol. Friendly wager for bragging rights, sure.

If you got TH at the 94th pick, you weere getting him at or after Devonta Smith, DJ Moore, Travis Hunter, Jaylen Waddle, Travis Kelce, TJ Hockenson, Calvin Ridley, Isaiah Pacheco, Michael Pittman, Matthew Golden and RJ Harvey, for example. He has great prospects to be better than all of those guys ROS, especially with Rhamondre’s continuing fumbling problem. Run first offense and Drake Maye likes to throw to his backs.

We can agree to disagree on this, and we can revisit when the season is over.

Williams has been a godsend for me. Especially with 3 of my top 4 draft picks being lost for the season/out for multiple weeks.

Pollard hasn't been spectacular but at least he's been a steady source of points.

I left my draft with Nabers, London, Worthy and Kittle at TE and they were together for one quarter.
