Fordham has hired Eastern Kentucky coach since 2005, Jeff Neubauer. Expect paschall to meet with the new coach, with villanova tomorrow, and then PC the week after and then us. He wants to commit before April 15 or on April 15 so if we can get him in 3rd we might be his last visit which could bode well for us...

Would be a great get.

Beginning to think that going after, and getting, the top transfers every year should become UConn's new recruiting strategy. It's fertile recruiting ground that no other school has made a priority of.

Hearing that florida is in there also

One of my friends that currently goes to UConn is buddies with Paschall, he went to high school with him and they graduated in the same class.

I think Paschall will give Florida a look but that's really it. Like I've mentioned before, a big reason he went to Fordham was because of how close it is to home. Still think it comes down to Fordham, PC, Nova, UConn in the end.

If he visits PC and goes to the Olive Garden, we're dead.

Sooooooooooooo, you're saying there's a chance!

My sister in law went to Fordham back in the 60's and I went to UConn....call me crazy, but Paschall going to UConn is lock-city

From your lips to gods ears - Getting the A10 rookie of the year would be huge

@Epaschall4: Cut my list down to Fordham, Providence, Kansas, Villanova, and Florida.

That's a pretty strange list on at least a few levels.

That's a pretty strange list on many levels.

Fordham was always going to be an option because his family likes the proximity. His former HC was an assistant under Jay Wright, and there were rumblings earlier that he could be rehired to entice Paschall to go to Nova. And Kansas has a gaping hole at SF. Florida and PC are weird though.

@Epaschall4: I have decided to transfer to my current school. Glad i got this process over with and can't wait to sit out a year just to be on the same team!

I won't bother him and direct message him again, because it's really none of my business but after Rothstein's original post it seems as if we did nothing to get Paschall. I clearly don't know for sure, and I hope I am wrong. This kid would've been the perfect replacement for D-Ham next year. Oh well. My guess is he heads to PC for Cooley. Cooley has been in on him since he was 15-16 years old.

He canceled his PC visit so who knows.

Rumor has it that Dunn is staying so that means that the only ship we have available is Tyler Harris's, so with Dunn staying Cooley will be all in on somebody who would be eligible next year.

That's a really good fit. He'll give them a guy who can credibly play in the frontcourt, but who has legitimate guard skills, which is a key to their offense.

Given his skillset, Villanova always made the most sense.

PC stopped the visit as I explained previously with Dunn staying it seems they are all in with the last ship with Nigel Williams-Goss who visits PC this weekend. It's apparently down to UNLV and us. I would be shocked if we get him but it would be quite a pull for Cooley.

Congrats on Ollie, can't imagine a better chance becomes available. My money says he's yours for the long haul.

BTW, when are our schools going to play again? :)
