Bigger holy **** - You have 30 seconds, two time outs and Manning and you take a knee to go into overtime??? I'm sitting here in shock - I don't get it.

Wow those last 2 drives are a huge John Fox fail. You have arguably the greatest QB ever and you don't even give him a chance to throw the ball.

Great game - really happy for Ray Lewis. Both likable teams. Denver with some bonehead decisions.

During fourth qtr and OTs one team played aggressive and the other team played scared.

The Ravens TD at the end of the 4th may be the worst end of game pass defense I've ever seen.

He's not the best QB in his own family when it matters

Peyton's career has been dragged down by deer-in-the-headlights coaching.

Put him with Belichick and they probably have 6 rings (and Brady probably has zero).

(rolls eyes). Peyton's had his share of deer-in-the-headlights moments, going back to the last time he wore orange.

It's funny. When people talk about Belichick's success they say it's all because of Brady. A lot of the same people talk about Brady's success and they say it is because of the system. Which of course is Belichick's system.

How many people are going to blame this loss on Peyton Manning, who makes a midget wr and a hippy wr look good. Bottom line the Ravens deserved to win that game the game was over once the Ravens sent it to OT.

Yeah, it's almost impossible to separate the two, and you can't have it both ways.

I claim that it's because of Belichick. The evidence (and really the only possible evidence to break the tie) is that the Patriots still went 11-5 with Matt Cassel.

I'm not sure what the argument for Manning over Brady is these days. Let alone Manning over Montana.

Peyton is easily in the top five all time for QBs, and he's in my top three. But there really isn't much tangible evidence to say he's had a better career than Brady.

How is he in your top3 with his playoff record and stats?

Top 10 Super Bowl era QBs, maybe. Only 1 championship. Benny Friedman revolutionized the passing game more than anyone else ever did. Barely anyone here probably knows who he is.

I've been a Donkey's fan since there first SB against the Cowboys when Craig Morton and Norris Weese split QB duties that game. This is why when people asked me if I was stoked to get Manning this year, I'd say, yes and no. Yes, because it make the Tebow divorce inevitable thankfully there was even a knuckled headed front office that gave something up for him, and no, because isn't a long term solution and most of us know the ending of the Peyton Manning season video before we see it. It hasn't changed that much since he played in Knoxville.

As an aside, I'm beyond sick of the deification of Ray Lewis, he's right up there with Al Sharpton as guys that have undergone utterly unfathomable shifts in public perception. It proves we as a culture have a short memory and do forgive and forget.

Heck of a game. That td at the end of regulation was the version of Marquette making a three.

I have been a long time Broncos fan since the days of Floyd Little. The UCONN win today keeps me from jumping off the bridge.

Yes, but if you can't make the distinction and draw a dividing line between a guy that was involved in a murder investigation and a guy that hasn't then I don't know what to tell you.

Was not defending the deification of either player. I've been a Patriots fan and don't deify Brady or Belichick.

Where on the same page there. The idea of fawning over athletes and elevating them to some other worldly status especially as a grown man seems really odd to me so I'll gladly admit that I don't get when fans do it. Having spent a majority of my working life in marketing I totally understand the business of why the sports media does it.

I was at the game. As many mistakes as the broncos made (which was a ton), that game was over. 40 seconds left and ravens on their own 40 with no timeouts with 3rd and long. What do they do? Get beat over the top on what was basically a hail mary. That is one of the worst defensive breakdowns in playoff history. Just awful. Thank god the bball team won today.

Why is all the talk about Ray Lewis I get its his last season and he is an all-time great but he has already won a Super Bowl. What about Ed Reed he has never won a superbowl before and this could be his last season, or Anquan Boldin he got real close with Arizona, also have Matt Birk who played on those Randy Moss-Cris Carter Viking teams that always chocked in the playoffs.
