Cronin is a solid coach but he is far from being irreplaceable. Cincy's stance should be 'if he moves on, we will wish him luck and find a quality replacement'.

I can't see anything worse than the school president publicly stating the AD is doing everything he can. If Cronin does leave, how can that be interpreted any other way than UC couldn't keep an alumnus from leaving for UNLV (far from a top gig) even though they did everything they could to keep him.
 
Someone needs to change Santa's Twitter password and not tell him the new one.

Judging by an 8 page thread and 154 posts, it's clear that it is a topic of interest.
 
If he goes home and pretends he doesn't want to go to Vegas, maybe they'll offer an extra 200K per year. Really not that bad an idea.
 
It's Mick Cronin. Plan B should be in place, Bruiser Flint is available.
