OT: Coup in Turkey?

They in theory have a secular democracy but Erdogan was trying to consolidate power and had strong religious inclinations. It appears that whatever is happening is fairly bloodless at this point - there is a history of military coups whenever the country appears to be heading too far in a nay direction.
 
I have heard from many Turkish friends including those who were at the games with us and they are all safe. Martial Law was declared so they are indoors. They don't know who will come out on top, but expect to know by tomorrow.
 
Contrary to reports on CNN, they have internet access as well as Facebook. Don't know about Twitter, but suspect they still have that also.
