He plays for Savannah State and hit a jumper with 1:26 left in the first half against Louisville. It was their first basket after starting 0-23.

Then they hit another and are down 41-7 at the half.

Louisville should never play a team like Savannah State on the face of it but I'm sure they are doing it as a favor to them, like many HBCU's they desperately need the money. Amazing that Shannon Sharpe came out of that little school.

I remember that game. Was eventually kinda rooting for UNH to make a bucket. It also made me think the stand and clap thing we do is backwards - should do it until the opponent scores, and then there's pressure on the other team to get us to sit.

There's a lot of pressure on that jump shot with 1:30 in the half. You could go a whole half without a basket if you don't knock that down. I want the ball in his hands with a championship on the line.

Savannah State traveled to BYU for a football game this past weekend....lost 64-0 but made a fortune, I am sure.

They did have a nice hoop win over Winthrop the other night - Wintrop was coming off a win at Clemson.
