Well, at least the women's game still isn't a cesspool. Between the APR crap and this, I may be done with the men's side of college basketball. The NCAA has set up a system where schools that don't care about academics get to run what is essentially a pro team and teams that care about academics either suck or get punished because they try to get college kids to take real classes where they get treated like everyone else. I will watch again when/if this scumbag goes to coach an NBA team.

I'm at the point where I think they should just have stand alone teams with no money passing between the university and basketball/football. No scholarships either. Avoid Title 9. Boosters and agents can do whatever they want.
 
the sad thing is after he pays off his 10 buddys and his 5 new players each year hes only bringing home 3mil of that.
 
How much must it suck to live in Kentucky that having a winning college basketball team is this important to them?

Thats a fn joke...............a decent coach, who has dropped 2 banners thus far because of cheating, at a Top 5 program and they kiss his a**? This is funny................I get he's a good coach but to pay him 3 to 4 more K than better coaches.....stupid f'ers in Kentucky huh?? Hahahahahahaha
 
I was surprised when UK hired him, but having sold their souls, it makes sense to pay to keep him. I may not like him or his approach, but he did what he was hired to do, bring another title to Kentucky.
