OT: Bria Hartley - comeback player of the year?

I’ve noticed this as well, she is playing very good this year. I must say, I’ve tried watching the WNBA the last three to four years and for me it was unwatchable. No structure in the play, very sloppy. And the refereeing was a joke, and still is. The women however are playing really good and it’s not so sloppy and unorganized as in years past. I think it has something to do with the new influx of talent. These veterans don’t want to be shown up by the young talent, so everyone is playing their buts off and it’s a lot better to watch. I have been pleasantly surprised.

Bria's performance this year has been very good. After being out for 2 years (I think) her return at this level is remarkable. I hoped she could return at the same level she was at before her injury, but I think she's better. She and Liv (along with Saniya Rivers defense) have been real bright spots for the Sun. 'Sun spots', if you will. ;)

She finally looks fully healthy. A lot of WNBA games in the first month look sloppy. Between the slow return of players from other leagues and all the personnel changes teams look like they need longer training camps. Plus the allowance of the more physical play can make it tough to watch.
