Ot Bobby Hurley, two Arizona State Sun Devils men's basketball players disciplined by Pac-12 for conduct toward officials

The article makes it sound worse than it looks on the video. It’s not like he gets in there face. He just shouted at them while walking off the court. I think Stanford had something like 31 fouls and Arizona had some thing like nine. That’s a crazy foul disparity and I could see a how calling a foul on a three with 1.1 second left in game on top of that would set him off.

Living in AZ I see a lot of ASU games and Bobby has even more of a temper than Danny. The foul discrepancy in the game was ridiculous
 
The ASU player shouldn't have touched the ref, but beyond that I didn't see much.
 
Officials have a hard job and all that but some of them need to be forced to answer questions after a game. They are never held accountable for their bs. Screw up a game or a call, and walk away with no repercussions. Nice work if you can get it!

I think it was 31 foul shots for Stanford, vs. 9 for ASU.

Still ridiculous.

I went in and re-watched it since I missed that the first go around. You’re right and it was the contact that set off the ref.

I think both Hurley brothers could do a fair Billy Martin imitation (sans dirt) if they are given the "opportunity"!
 
What I would normally say is "Coach, shutup" and be mature. But 41-9 is a travesty. Absolutely impossible.
 
maybe bobby can take kimani's place on the staff once he gets his first HC job

I don’t believe having to defend BH was included in the deal when we signed Dan Hurley.
 
Were either of them named Grayson or Allen?
 
What is up with ASU though? Bobby’s a competitive guy this must be killing him. They have the talent
 
Bobby has been a successful assistant at a high major(Duke). I don’t think it’s out of the realm of possibility

Gotta figure he is on the hot seat. Not sure what is going on with ASU these past few years, just hope the same never happens to Dan Hurley.
 
I don't think it would ever happen, I can't see him coming and working under his younger brother. But we could do much much worse than Bobby when hiring the next assistant

He never coached at Duke. He was only an assistant under Dan for two years at Wagner and one year at Rhode Island. Then, he was the head coach at Buffalo before ASU. Bobby was out of the game until Dan pulled him back in to be his assistant when he took his first college head coaching job.

I get it. He and his brother recruit from the same area and we've been winning those battles. But no argument here, I was just never a fan of his coaching
 
I love the fact that if Danny didn’t coach here we’d be talking about Bobby as an self-entitled, poor sport Dookie, but since he’s our coach’s brother we are now saying that he was justified.
