Going to B.C. would be a mistake. Athletic department is as much of a train wreck as ASU. PC would be better option. Seton Hall option is not available. Holloway is doing good job there. Now Georgetown might be a consideration, though. If Duke's coach abruptly left, then he would be a consideration as well, however the hear and now points to PC. JMHO.

Probably nothing. It would just be hilarious to see the brothers go toe to toe, and the sports media storm it would kick up might help the BE.

No one knows yet it’s very close to the vest. Sendek’s name got thrown around, but all I know is Pitino and Tranghese are trying to convince Billy Donovan to take it. From what it sounds like they’ve paused until they know the full list of coaches. But it’s Billy’s if he wants it. I don’t buy that they have a name yet despite what some tweeted yesterday. Lots of smoke and BS being posted online about this being final.

The buyout is sort of high on Kim, so they wouldn’t have the budget to go get a high paid guy. Even though the school is affluent I don’t think a donor would step up to pay the full $11M.

Yeah I get it. That wasn’t a sleight to you. I just think they’re out of their minds if they think Donovan will actually step foot inside that dumpster fire.

I'm hearing they passed over Billy Donovan for Jay Wright, announcement will be made right after they lose in the Big East tournament.

I don't think Donovan is going to take the job, but why is it a dumpster fire? They have good fan support and good NIL.

He loves the school, his father and mother-in-law just passed away who also loved the Northeast, you’re 60 years old and the NBA really isn’t your thing, so why not ride back to PC and save the program?

He was the last person to touch a Final Four there, there would be serious legacy aura if he returned and brought the program back.

Again, possible not probable. AD Nap also needs to save his job so he needs a slam dunk.

It was for comedic effect. True, anywhere with nil these days can win. PC has as good a chance as anyone.

I get the obvious connections to PC and everything else, but I just don't get why Donovan would want to leave the NBA for anyone except a team in the B1G, B12, or SEC where he has endless $$ at his disposal and will be able to rebuild, via the portal, in 4 minutes. Kentucky would give him a blank check and he'd be the returning savior there.

Back on the rails, I hope that the Hurleys work together to see if Diop wants to try the other bro as a coach. That dude is a lottery pick waiting to happen, and for all of you with a double big kink, this could be your moment.
