The guy is such an insufferable . He makes any game he commentates for impossible to watch.

He lives in San Diego. I met him a couple years back and he's a cool guy. His knees and back are shot and I doubt he could stand up straight if he tried. People were hanging all over him trying to take a picture and I asked him if he gets tired of it. He looked at me and said, "people loving you never gets old."

One of my favorite broadcast moments was when he yelled out "Charlie Ward sucks" during a national broadcast of a Knicks game. Probably the funniest thing I've seen from an announcer.

He may be the nicest guy in the world (he was awesome when I sat next to him at a game when I was a kid) but he is absolutely insufferable as a commentator. Painfully bad.
