OT: Best bar in CT

I'm in. I am now a big fan of Karaoke Boy. XOXO

That was a fun hang the other night.

Hungry tiger Manchester 3/30
La boca Middletown 4/5
Arch street Hartford 4/12

Take your pick. :-)

another, are you serious? Bar BQ is gone, seemed like a bro fest and fun if you are like 22
I'm not too good with all the names lol, but I always have a good time when I go out in Stamford.

Haven't been up in years, but I used to really like going to Sliders for wings/pitchers. Primarily in Plainville, but been to the others as well and always enjoyed them. Assuming if their wings are like other places, the prices have probably been jacked up quite a bit though.

Maybe I'm just too nostalgic for the old one but they cut about 3/4s of the old menu, some of the old good options are gone. There are way too many TVs with different sports going on to concentrate. Took about half an hour for the waitress to come around. I do like the draft list. The virtual golf in the corner is nice. the place just feels like buffalo wild wings though. There's no more charm to the place. Although that seems to be the overall theme of Stamford replacing everything with luxury apartment complexes .

Best dive bars must include The Bach Dor in Chaplin. Used to go every Thursday for nickel night. Anything in the place for five cents. We would get our load on and then dance with the biker "babes". Honorable mention to the Spigot in WH.

We leave for Key West and Islamorada 4/6. I can be hungover for that flight....

La Boca is a great time, gets crazy in there.

Bring your GF again, shes fun. I like her a lot. So does my wife.

Beer Collective in New Haven is nice when its somewhat quiet
Closed Bars: JP's in Hartford for Thursday and Friday nights, Carrie Nations in Manchester, Closed Dive: The Silver Dollar in Rockville

When I got to UConn in 2010, Ted's still had an inch of muck on the floor. Even thinking about that place makes me want to go shower.
You youngsters never had the pleasure of Rapp's. Now that was a dump. If the bathroom wasn't under an inch of water you wondered what was wrong, It was a two-holer, the toilet and the sink. Then again, 99-cent pitchers.
