OT: Bazley decommits from 'Cuse, goes to G-League

That's the NBA' s biggest flaw here.

Let 18 year olds go to the draft but not eligible to play on the NBA team or something.

Give teams a reason to develop these kids.

One note: I do think kids will look at how well Bazley does in the draft next year.

It's a lot harder to play against Pros and Men than it is against fellow college students. Much easier to shine in college and build that hype.

If he does well, gets drafted high, then it sound like a go.

Interesting litmus test to watch.

EDIT: I see the guy with the tweets above beat me to it. Too slow

Bazley won't be the first to go from HS to the G League (although called the D League at the time). Latavious Williams went from HS to the D League in 2009, bypassing college. He was the #36 recruit in the class and he was drafted in the 2nd round in 2010. I don't think he ever played in the NBA.

Honestly, if I were an NBA team with a G-League team, I'd draft him in G-League, practice and develop him and then literally never play him so other teams couldn't see how good he is/isn't.

As much as I'll laugh at Cuse for this, just end the one-and-done farce already. For the NBA finally makes a move this summer.

It was this same tweet from Evan Daniels, but said $30k instead of $25K

25k and he will have to pay for his own meals. Housing is provided. These kids literally have no clue how cushy they have it as full scholarship athletes at top schools.

Enjoy the low pay, bus trips, paying for your meals, and fighting against grown men for playing time.

I'm guessing an agent got to him and offered him a helluva lot more than $25k.
