In the field: Fraser-Price....Jamaica....won the 100 gold a few days ago.
Campbell-Brown...Jamaica....2008 200 gold winner
Carmelita Jeter....USA...silver in the 100 behind Price
Richards-Ross...USA....400 gold winner a few days ago.
Favorite [slight imo]....Felix...USA...season best of 21.69 in our trials

Incredibly deep field...comparable a bit to the men's 100.

Me too. Allyson hasn't won an individual gold at the Olympics...just relay gold. She has won a couple of World Championship gold in the 200.
She is 26...30 at Rio might put her past her sprinting prime. Really hope she gets it here.

I think she gets it - she is starting too well now (the 100 competitions seem to have really helped her first 50), and her gait has such little wasted motion that it's a beautiful thing to watch as she pulls away in the last 50.

I don't see anyone staying with her over that last 50 or so. Weather might be too cool, but with a field like this the WR is going to be threatened. Probably not broken, but they will be knocking unless there is a big headwind on the straightaway.

It's going to be a great race. Am really rooting for Felix. She was close in the 100, but i think in the 200, her stamina and ability to sprint for a longer distance will carry her to the gold. We will see tho. gonna be a great race!

Wow--men's 110 meter hurdles. Gold and silver. Very fast times, just off the OR and WR.
