Dunn is leaving early like Kemba left early. He's graduating. And really, he's too good to be a grad transfer. Nothing more to do in college.
How sweet would it be if he DID want to be a fifth year transfer and correct his mistake of not attending UCONN to begin with?

Damn straight!
Unless your name is God. Shamgod that is.

He was a grad assistant with Provy last year so God really didn't help them much.

He has been/will be a point guard

For whatever reason, whenever people want to poo-poo a guy's chances at succeeding at the next level, they pretend he played a different position than he played.

Yeah like just because a player has to score more than usual does not mean he isn't a point guard. Don't think anyone is mistaking Kemba with a shooting guard.

Some Jeremy Lin fans out there think Kemba is a SG...or should be. But they are insane.

Lin fans are the worst, they are literally crawling over any major hornets forum /Twitter whining about how Jeremy "slays Giants" and could start on any team.

Ed spent a great deal of time and energy recruiting Abu, really really thought we had him. Bentil was our consolation prize.

Reminds me of the time that Welsh recruited the hell out of Hakim Warrick, he was considered a shoe in for PC only to have Julius Hodge bale on the Orange at the last minute and go to NCST, Warrick then goes to Cuse, our consolation prize? Ryan Gomes.

Austin Croshere with you guys comes to mind as well.

Sometimes things have a way of working out. I'm sure the Huskies have plenty of those stories as well.

Clearly only a few (Ulis, Murray, Skal) will be seriously considered but the whole UK roster is now entered to the Draft

Can't believe how good Bentil turned out to be. He was fun to watch this season and I kind of hope he comes back next year for you guys.

Some of the UConn stories...

Class of 2008. We went after Brandon Jennings, and he chose Arizona before going overseas for professional basketball. Our consolation prize: Kemba Walker.

Class of 2010. We went hard after 3 of the top 10 players in the class looking for a point guard: Josh Selby, Brandon Knight and Cory Joseph. All three passed and we ended up with Shabazz Napier instead.

Class of 2011. Went for Jabarie Hinds and he ended up committing to West Virginia a couple days after Ryan Boatright committed to Huggins. Boatright decommits and ends up a Husky #thankyoujabarie

This is gold. Hopefully the walkons get drafted!

If calipari sets up a workout @ uk with 20+ NBA front office personnel... Hate to say it but I'll have to tip my hat to him. If KO and other coaches don't set up combines they are falling behind badly

Isaiah Fox chose Arizona and we had to settle for Emeka Okafor. A bit different but Ben Gordon's dream school was Duke and they didn't think he was good enough, worked out okay for us with that class.

These 2 really say it all in who the recruiting dominoes fall at times huh. Amazing, you never know.

I'm thinking we still have something which will change our roster for next year waiting in the wings.

Some updates:

Dwayne Bacon withdrew his name and decided to return to FSU.

Cheick Diallo declared with no agent.
Demetrius Jackson declared with no agent.
Trevon Blueitt declared with no agent.

DeAndre Bembry, Devin Williams (WVU), Tim Quarterman (LSU), Stephen Zimmerman, and Wayne Selden have all declared and will each hire an agent.

Here's an interesting one...

I'm really shocked how low dx and other publications have ranked him. It's hs, but after watching him in multiple games during the grind session , he looked like a legit 5 star. If he qualified for entry, I don't understand how a team wouldn't draft him late lotto or 20-30. Skal is not a better prospect

Yeah, wonder if it's just Ed Smith's bad rep with all those publications rubbing off on Thon. I'm sure he'll show out in the workouts if he becomes eligible for the draft.

Grayson Allen is staying, Duke is gonna be ridiculous next year.
