Bottom 3rd, after a 2 out error by the player at 3B, the UConn offense has a scoreless inning with 2 strike outs. 4-0 Air Force.
 
Top 4th, after the bases get loaded with 1 out including 2 walks, Pudvar comes out of the game. Trumpour takes the mound.

A sac fly for the 2nd out drives in a run, and puts runners on the corners. 5-0 Air Force.

An infield single drives in a run, 6-0 Air Force.

Another single drives in another run and puts runners on the corners. 7-0 Air Force.

Another run scores on a passed ball. 8-0 Air Force.

Bottom 4th, Minick leads off with an infield single, and Marshall follows with a double putting 2 runners on base. A no out single by Dalena drives in 2 runs. 8-2 Air Force.

Wachter draws a no out walk., the runners advance into scoring position on a ground out for the 1st out. Jemison follows with a single that drives in 2 runs. 8-4 Air Force.

With 1 out, 2 UConn walks loads the bases. Menzel drives in a run with a sac fly for the 2nd out that moves up all the runners. 8-5 Air Force.

Top 5th, Gilchrist gives up a lead off walk. The runner advances to 2B on a sac bunt for the 1st out, and advances to 3B on a 1 out single. The runner at 1B steals 2B. A run scores on an error by Menzel. 9-5 Air Force.
 
Bottom 5th, with 1 out, Dalena gets a double, he advances to 3B on a ground out. Ends up being a scoreless inning for the UConn offense. 9-5 Air Force.

Bottom 6th, with 1 out Belisario draws a walk, Rispoli follows with a walk and Belisario moves to 3B on a wild pitch. A double play makes it a scoreless inning. 9-5 Air Force.
 
Bottom 7th, with 1 out Marshall reaches 1B due to a 3B error. Ends up being a scoreless inning for the UConn offense. 9-5 Air Force.
 
Top 8th, Hale gives up a lead off single, the runner steals 2B. After 2 outs, Hale comes out of the game. Shaw takes the mound.

Shaw gets the 1st batter he faces to ground out which ends the inning. 9-5 Air Force.
 
Bottom 8th, Taylor pinch hits for Lane and draws a lead off walk, Jemison gets hit by a pitch, so 2 runners on base with no outs. Tirado pinch hits for Belisario, he flies out for the 1st out, but both runners move up a base. Rispoli drives in a run with a ground out for the 2nd out. 9-6 Air Force.

Top 9th, Finn hits the lead off batter, the runner moves to 2B on a wild pitch. The runner scores on throwing error on a ball hit to Finn. 10-6 Air Force.

A home run drives in 2 runs. 12-6 Air Force.
 
Bottom 9th, Marshall gets on base with a 1 out single, he steals 2B, but the UConn offense ends up having a scoreless inning due to 3 strikeouts. Air Force wins the game 12-6.
 
No excuses from this pitching staff for the number of free passes given up. Afraid these early starts these past 2 years will cost us unfortunately
