Amazing. Saw this earlier in week! All my guys in there — khalid, kemba , rip, ray, Caron, k-free, bazz, boat, benny, taliek, meka, shoddy etc. god we had so many great players. I used to have a prized collection of every OSM on VCR, from the late 80s to 1998 ... would watch them with friends at all times of year, looking forward to the day that we have ours!

Enter 1999, I'm a grad student at Duke, watching the championship game alone in my apartment, and the dream comes to reality ... next step, hit record to capture the magical moment and complete the collection, DONE ... phone is ringing off the hook, random neighbors (yes Duke students and fans) knocking at my door to give congrats ...

Through and after all that madness, around 3am, I go to look at our 1999 OSM, and my friggin' VCR recorded a Sherman Hemsley (aka George Jefferson) Amen episode, FML!

Luckily the digital revolution happened, and every year of OSM is now easily discoverable online ...

and with that, I contribute my in-person OSMs from 2014 and 2023 to this most marvelous thread ... Go Huskies!
