This guy has already popped up a couple times. I've never really taken to his other stuff, but this song still blows me away after all these years. To me it's one of the greatest songs ever, any genre.


It's great for Karaoke.
 
One of my favorite bands, right now anyway. (haven't figured out my favorite song of theirs, but this one is up there)

In addition to traditional folk, it also all comes back to progressive rock for me. I often post something from Gentle Giant or Yes, but here’s short-lived American band Happy the Man. They often had multiple time changes in their music; this one is all about crescendos.

Living in the Denver-Boulder area in the 70's, the group Zephyr was quite prominent.

Candy Givens, Tommy Bolin, amongst others, were key members.
