I would rather not fall into the trap of blaming the refs. UConn should have been in a position where bad calls didn't matter either way.

BTW, I saw some bad calls and no calls that would have benefited ND and Baylor as well.

Dee does every big game...we could've said the same had we won them...18 turnovers...22 points...in a 6 point loss? Damn you dee!
Why is that? It's not like she's any good. Very biased from where I sit. Phantom calls on SD, and KLM knocked to the floor with no calls.

I believe that she has called more technical fouls on Geno than anyone. I believe there is a mutual dislike only she holds the hammer or whistle as it may be.

Another common denominator, is that the teams the Huskies have lost to have head coaches that have a rare quality in wcbb: they aren't at an automatic 10-point disadvantage coaching against Geno.

They also wear tighter pants than any other coaches.

It's because she sucks. There are tons and tons of excellent officials out there, but Barb Jacobs and the rest of the coordinators refuse to hire them. When the have a big game, they deliberately hire the worst officials. When possible, they hire the worst officials who also have an obvious bias against the coaches involved in the game. Why are those officials still officiating? It because the sucky refs bribe the coordinators who submit the reports that get folks selected to serve in the tournament. That way the sucky officials continue to officiate. I understand sucky refs also bribe reporters to call out any new refs who try and officiate those big games. Job security is helped by the public humiliation of others.

DK also has a Masters from the June Corteau graduate school for the imcompetent and biased.

I wish I wrote that post. Every word is true. How much did the sucky moderators pay you to write it?

You were outplayed.
Hmmm, interesting. Could you tell us which of the posters here is the "you" that was outplayed? I'm a rather sickly old man, I'm fairly sure I wasn't outplayed, though no doubt I would be.

The most important statistic in common between both games is that by the end of the second half we were outscored.

One of the huge things holding back the women's game is the quality of officiating not keeping up with the athletes. Bob Joyce or Joe D said something on TIC about how Kanter gets assigned every high profile game for no apparent reason.
