“I’m in a dark place, scrolling on TikTok, and all of a sudden I see Paige shooting a freaking three. I’m like, that is the coolest thing ever,” Steward said. “I just started watching games and fell in love with it … Watching them pulled me out of it, so to be able to come is just awesome. I’ve been a big fan of Paige and a big fan of Nika, so it was so surreal. I still can’t even believe I’m here.

In high school members of opponent teams would line up for Paige's autograph. At least initially that had to feel a bit weird for Paige. With years of this adulation she has still remained relatively grounded, which is impressive.

I'm sure many of you are men's team fans too.

Here's a photo from the dream season (1989-90), a friend and I were using Marc Suhr's tickets to sit behind the players' bench (family section) for the Senior Night game:

The Women's team is made up of Rockstars, who don't act like it ! They are truly THE national brand for WCBB, and it's not even close.

UConn at Seton Hall 2021-22 season. Paige gets a bloodied nose, Geno argues for a foul to no avail, Paige doesn't sit for a second, she puts on a nose plug and continues to play:

No wonder there wasn't a foul called, Geno is talking to that blind ref that misses every foul when it comes to UConn and calls everything against UConn even if there isn't a foul.
