Ryan, Alex, and Roscoe all contributed substantially in the scoring column. i taped the game to be watched later, but i think i'll pass. what a smackdown. unfortunately, i think everyone's expectations were way too high to start the year - top 10 preseason ranking, bringing everyone back but Kemba, adding the #1 kid in the class plus Boat, and DD, and we really thought we were a potential final 4 team.

as fans it's disappointing. but it has to be worse for the players.

I also elected to tape the game. If they won or it was a close game I planned to watch it and enjoy it. If they lost badly, I would plan to erase it. Guess what I'm doing. I really thought this team had final four potential. Now I'm thinking the NIT may be out of reach.

well as i said, fans are rightfully disappointed, but it's just a game. i have no idea what the answer is - if there are chemistry issues, coaching issues, individual issues, talent issues, but if we weren't ranked in the top 25 to start the year, perhaps it wouldn't be so disappointing.

i don't like reading stuff like "these kids don't deserve to wear the UCONN uniform". really? it's not like they are soldiers who just took a crap on the American flag. they are teenagers (for the most part) trying to play a game as best they can.

Well its pathetic that I show more emotion and I care more and Im sitting on my ass watching the game with zero ability whastoever to do anything. If only our players cared one tenth as much.

i wasn't sure how something like that would have been received given the beat down. then again, the board is pretty animated at the moment...
