Look, everyone looked great out there. But most impressive to my eyes for either being much better than expected or looking like they had big leaps from last year were Ross & Abraham.
Singare had the play of the day…leaked out on a fast break, got the pass, took a few dribbles, then delivered a perfect behind the back pass to a trailing Abraham (I think ) for a monster jam!
TBH, I'm not worried about a guy taking an occasional leak. Why is it I'm not a fan of reading about a center "leaked out on a fast break", and would rather hear he battled for the rebound and outran everyone down the court?
Because it happened when he was up high defending Samson who was setting a high screen, from what I remember. Relax. And since you mentioned it, Singare frequently beats players down the court even when he starts from under the basket. Kid has a serious motor and plays hard. Why is it I'm not a fan of reading about a center "leaked out on a fast break", and would rather hear he battled for the rebound and outran everyone down the court?
The lower level seats approximately 3,000. Though it seemed like more the figure cited by Borges is probably accurate.Yea that can’t be right…the 100’s level had to be 90%+ full and there were a good amount of fans in the middle 200s section
He looked better in person. Physical specimen. Runs effortlessly and his jumper is surprisingly smooth.I said the same thing watching that highlight video from practice. I know it's just a short highlight video from practice, but he did not look like a 70-85 rated recruit.
I thought he had the best day overall. If he played like that, Hurley won't have enough minutes.I keep getting texts about how good Jayden Ross looks.

Singera looks like he put in a lot of good work. J Stew had good energy, but seemed to doubt his jumper... until he got one to go I'm. He then hit 3 straight in the scrimmage.I agree. Karaban was the best player on the floor, as he should be, but I was most impressed (considering expectations) with Ross and Abraham. Nowell looked good, and Singare looked like he can play. Diarra, Ball, and Johnson were solid, but Stewart struggled. McNeeley and Mahaney were ok, but not great, I just think they need some more time to get used to the system, and the speed, size, and strength of their opponents, the talent is obviously there. Surprisingly, as freshman, Nowell and Abraham seemed to slide in most easily.
I didn't notice any but it was hard to tell.Any recruits in the house?
