Hello to Tony and/or anyone else out there that has requested tickets - haven't seen much in the way of communication back and am wondering when to expect the tickets that I paid for or if to expect the tickets? Feedback would be appreciated.
I wonder if this becomes Geno's retirement gig, or if this is his last go round as the Olympic coach. I could see either happening.Geno Auriemma talks U.S. women’s basketball team
"They like being coached. And they like the fact that there's a lot of pressure at stake. And they love pressure. So, those two things — they enjoy being coached; they know the games mean a lot, I mean, it's for a gold medal — they're unbelievable to be around. I mean, if they weren't, I wouldn't have done it again."

I would not be surprised to see it go to Reeve as an alternative to Staley.I would say this is almost certainly his last turn as Olympic coach. He's the first coach to stay on for more than one quadrennial, and I just don't see him committing to another four years. I have a feeling the next one might go to Staley.
I would be shocked, though, if he retires from UConn anytime soon.
I hope Jerry Colangelo can be as persuasive as he has in the past and will be able to talk Geno into one more go-around. I think it does wonders for recruiting (well OK, 4 NC's in a row doesn't hurt either, but....)I would say this is almost certainly his last turn as Olympic coach. That would make it really easy if it worked that way. It doesnt work that way.Tony you are certainly being a great sport with all the changes coming in, but you posted last call on June 28th. Take the money in hand ,send out the tickets and let people figure out how to get tickets on their own.
Just saying....
Thanks Tony. I appreciate all the time an effort that this must have taken you.Mailed tickets yesterday. Looking ahead to the Regionals in March. Those of you who have given me your email addresses will be receiving information when I receive it. I have ordered a block of tickets and I am working on some possible special events. We will have over 140 people attending the Olympic games. I expect more then that for the Regionals.
