I'd love to land Isaiah Briscoe. Top 15 player likely to reclassify to 2014

Scout has him as a 4-star 6'1" SG and Rivals as a 5-star 6'4" PG. Anybody know how tall and what position he has been playing?

Add Cheick Diallo, Terry Larrier and Abdul Malik-Abu to the list. Possible others.

Alright, what recruits are playing tonight?
They will most likely watch some combo of Terry Larrier, Cheick Diallo, Malachi Richardson, Kelly Oubre, and Bennie Boatwright. There could be others they have their eye on though.

Just read the PC staff is front & center for PChukwu's last game. No idea if UConn is present, but the Friars are making this kid a priority.

I really expect they have a plan, maybe Chukwu is not in it for whatever reason but we do trust in KO!!! It would seem obvious to us (by HIGHLIGHTS mind you!!) that this kid needs to stay in the state of CT, but maybe they have a different game plan, Brimah may be better than we think and those 2 are too much alike? Not sure but we'll see won't we............

And just maybe he already knew Cooley had a stranglehold on him beginning while he was coaching in Fairfield? Ya never know in the world of recruiting........

didn't a poster say he spoke to Chukwu and when he mentioned UConn to him he said "they just signed a Center"? Between that comment and someone else saying his guardian is pushing him to a Catholic school I don't think its a matter of KO not recruiting him hard enough if he doesn't come here.

...and it's not just Brimah, Nolan and Facey will all play C this year and beyond(I think Nolan and Facey will have the flexibility to play PF as well). How good they are and will be remains to be seen but thats alot of fighting for minutes for one spot. Not saying its a done deal he winds up at Providence, but there's not alot there in '14 to compete with as far as playing time.

You have an awesome memory for these things. Your exactly right (which I recognized after you brought it up), he did say that about UConn having "already signed a center" that gave a pretty clear indication that he did not seem to be looking at UConn as a good fit. It's too bad, he looked like he has a lot of room for growth and could have helped us.

Ollie watched Paul White at the Peach Jam also. Before he broke his arm.

Florida’s Billy Donovan, Memphis’ Josh Pastner, Wisconsin’s Bo Ryan, UConn’s Kevin Ollie, Michigan State’s Tom Izzo and Illinois’ John Groce were courtside for what had to be White’s best game of the summer as the ESPN 100 forward went for 22 points and 11 rebounds.
