I'm shocked that USC and UCLA don't
USC has the one.

It wasn't that long ago that Stanford pretty much always had at least one, UCLA and USC routinely got them, Oregon was reeling them in for a while, and even schools like Oregon St. and Washington got some here and there. The disintegration of the Pac 12 hasn't done much for the recruiting of the former members.

Oops sorry. You did post ONE team west of Texas...doh!

Vukosa was a lock. The best post player in the class.

3 - Texas, Kentucky
2 - Notre Dame, Duke
1 - UConn, USC, N. Car., Maryland, Vandy, Mich. St., Indiana, LSU, Tenn., S. Car., Iowa, Clemson, Nebraska, Kansas

Three players from LuHi: Savvy Swords (KY), Emily McDonald (KY), Olivia Jones (Vandy).

USC got perhaps the most prolific scorer and ESPN #1, Saniyah Hall.

Congrats to Olivia! FWIW... Of our freshmen, I know Blanca would have been a McD AA had she been an "American", and also FWIW, I fully believe Jovana is one of the top 5 freshmen in the country. Just my $.02 on her from watching multiple videos and reading about her as well as her performances in world competitions. @MilfordHusky and I both believed that about both Blanca and Jovana...

For USC, I sense bad JuJu coming out of this....

What about Okeke?
I believe she's from Spain. She is in the USA right now at DME sports academy, but I don't think she's eligible for McDonalds all American status. I could be wrong, but I think that's the deal.

She looks like a natural talent. Not sure If Geno has shown inerest. Looks like one to have in reserve for when Serah Williams leaves. I'll have to look in the recruiting threads as I have no idea.

Update: Sara Okeke was nominated as a McDonalds All-American. There is a thread on here in the UConn recruiting section of the board. My apogies for the above post, I didn't research before posting.

Being a McDonald All- American is not a requirement for Geno. It is nice to have but if he sees what he wants from a potential player , he will offer her and then do the rest to make her the best player she can be .Geno has proven over and over again that there is only ONE GENO and Uconn's got him.GO GENO!!!!!! GO HUSKIES!!!!!!!!
