Olivia Vukosa at Uconn today

I've been avoiding videos and other Olivia material. I don't handle disappointment that well. I hear she's pretty good though.

I'm sure Olivia spent some time staring up at the wall where all the championship banners hang. But I hope she also spent a little time staring up at the wall and dreaming about her own number one day taking its place alongside some of the other greats who preceded her as UConn legends.

I feel like she would be posting better pictures if that were the case.
Vukosa has been on campus several times for unofficials and more introductions to the campus and facilities aren't necessary. This is the timeframe when all the priority recruits take their OVs with the students on campus. As for pictures, there's still time for her to post some during and after the visit but UConn doesn't push the over the top Hollywood crap that the other coaching staffs do to also sell themselves to current and future recruits. Many top recruits have come and gone from their OVs to UConn and nothing to very little came out about them. Vukosa loves the recruiting process and may elect to put some stuff out at some point but also might do it the quiet UConn way.

What could be better than pictures with two current WNBA centers who are UConn alums, one who graduated from your high school and the other who shares your first name?
Agreed. May be a better turn of phrase would be more typical photos, including photos in Connecticut gear?

Was literally typing this as your message came in, haha. I can’t think of another recruit to post photos like these post-visit, though.
I can't either but since Big O is all in on social media, she might be the next. At least there won't be a queen's crown and throne involved..... I think. 😉

Every time I see those photos of Lara I think of a missed opportunity for her. But then I think she’ll be happy at Stanford and have a really good experience there. And it reminds me of how difficult it is for a kid from Australia to pick a school as far away as UConn. That’s asking a lot. But it also encourages me to think that we are in Olivia’s backyard. There may be reasons for her to go elsewhere, but there are plenty for her to choose Storrs. I wonder if Kayleigh’s experience might be instructive for her.
