Yeah, Liv was ranked #1 by HG before her injury and is still #1 on some lists.
I can see the comparison to Brianna. I think Liv is a little thinner, taller, and longer, but both seem a little better defensively than offensively.
...Or as someone else pointed out, it's possible, and maybe more logical, that the fight song was the one that UCONN supplies and was played over the PA system... Either way it was a nice touch for sure!
I would be kind of hard for the band to rehearse the piece in secret and keep it secret. The cat would be out of the bag pretty quickly.I'm not sure if it was the band or a recording, but it was cool.
We got players ranked either 1 and 5 or 5 and 1.Liv....took me a second to get that. Pretty sneaky nickname.
Liv was rated 1st by Blue Star as recently as September as I've cached below:

Sam B called her LivWe got players ranked either 1 and 5 or 5 and 1.
Someone called her "Liv." I think it may have been one of the Huskies.

This is true. But I bet the band director would balk at that. Two maybe. Rehearsal time is precious.Unless they rehearsed all 5.![]()
I couldn't recall who it was. I thought it was one of our current players. I was wrong. It was one of our future players.Sam B called her Liv

Well . . . , almost as high as Gabby in about 10 photos of her I use as desktop pix!
Makes sense... smh! How did I not see that, I'm so use to seeing ONOOlivia

Liv comes from Winder, Georgia, about 25 miles west of Athens.can someone explain where LIV comes from?

Wind sprints and no Italian food for a year.what would have Geno done to her?
Cat?I would be kind of hard for the band to rehearse the piece in secret and keep it secret. The cat would be out of the bag pretty quickly.
As in "let the cat out of the bag."Cat?

We're conversing in a language so quirky that "fat chance" and "slim chance" mean the same thing so I was just tugging your limb (not pulling your leg), Gus, encouraging you to use a more mascot-appropriate species in the cliché.As in "let the cat out of the bag."![]()
