Joe D made a good point last night. He thought they should have been a way for EO Smith to reschedule their game to have the team go watch two alums battle it out.

EO Smith tried to reschedule but their opponent refused.

Pretty lame by the other school not to re-schedule.

Great story. Parents first date, NCAA game, can't make it up.

THS reunion here. Class of 1972 . Skip was not teaching there then but I met him circa 1976 -79 when I was substitue teaching. Seemed like a good guy.

I played baseball for Skip @ Tolland through 1981. He was a tough coach, but I liked him. He really knows the game. I would have some great talks with him while having my pitching arm caked in Icy Hot .... lol! Its been great to see Tyler's development, only early in his second year its going to be fun to see him develop over the 4 years!

Wow, I had no idea there were so many THS grads on the boneyard with me. '05 myself...never had Skip, but always heard good things about him. Also, my stepfather is his dentist and loves talking to him about Tyler playing at UConn and he calls me to tell me about it every time he sees him. I think I actually knew Tyler was committing before most because of that, but I never bothered posting much on the old boneyard so never mentioned it.

I'm hoping the Olander boys remember this is not their driveway and neither of them pulls a Yancy on the court.

Anyways, we now know that Tyler has always had an aggressive streak in him. The coaches weren't just throwing away a scholarship.

If they both get ejected, it will probably be for noogies, wedgies and wet willies.

I think it would be a good thing if JC started Olander.
