OL Matt Peart Senior Bowl.....

He played 2nd and 4th qtr. Looked real strong last drive of the game in both pass blocking and run blocking.

Tailgate scene pre and post game are significant. This stack of speakers was up on top of the plywood which housed the amps and power supplies.

I have no inside info but I think he ends up going in round two as of now as a player who can play RT and flip to LT later on in his career. He had a shout out today on a running play which was nice to hear towards the end of the game.

He's getting a lot of praise from scouts from the moment he was selected for the Senior Bowl. I think with this great outing in the bowl and a solid combine showing, he's easily mid first round.

With no Patrick Mahomes ahead of him, I'm thinking he could go Overall Number One...............:D

And Hand of Madison alum Jack Driscoll at 7

As NY Giant fan my hope is that Peart is the 2 round pick for the Giants after grabbing Simmons or someone like him for the defense. Would love to root for him each and every week

Mekhi Becton is way too low on that list. Some have him #1. He is mountain with the highest upside of any OT. It makes the list somewhat suspect.

This list shows, to me at least, that if you are from CT and you want to play in the NFL you can go to UCONN and still get the chance to play professionally. I know some kids just want to get away and play big time college football, got it. Attending UConn delivers a solid education and the chance to play in the NFL if you have the ability and desire to succeed. Then there is life after sports and if you plan to stay in the state, name recognition helps.
