I’m getting this game here in Florida.

DePaul is currently up 48-28 with 1:33 left in Q2. OK is playing hard but seems kind of hapless. Players are out of position all over the court and De Paul is scoring at will. I feel really badly for the OK kids because they’re trying but they can’t shoot and can’t defend.

It’s now 53-30 at the half.
 
I tried watching Oklahoma the other night against UCA and it was painful. They lost a lot in graduation and having best player hurt is just making a rough situation worse.
 
I just want to emphasize these kids are playing hard, they just seem inexperienced. And small. Napheesa and Liv should have good nights.

Napheesa and Liv should dominate easily. Skill level is heavily in their favor plus experience. Oklahoma hustles and plays hard, just lack of experience and skill development hurting them this year. Robertson is a 3x Big 12 Freshman of the week.
 
Sherri made some halftime adjustments on defense to defend the post but it’s leaving DePaul more open on the perimeter. That’s a seriously risky strategy. Fortunately for OK, DePaul is uncharacteristically erratic from the perimeter

Not a lot of defense being played by either team here. It’s 66-46 DePaul.

Yeah, Robertson is a good one for OK.
 
DePaul is losing its mind and chucking up shots. The players seem rattled by OK’s cutting a 27 point lead to 15.

I might have spoken too soon. DePaul rallies to stretch their led to 11with 6:00 left in the game. Refs are letting them play.
 
Seriously ugly game now. There must have been 8 turnovers in the last 8 possessions

It’s 85-73 DePaul with 3:11 left in the game, one pretty much devoid of defense
 
Fans get on UConn for missed layups but if they rooted for either of these teams they would have stroked out by now

DePaul hangs on to win 87-76. The game was not a women’s basketball showcase
 
LOL, announcer asks Sherri about UConn game. Sherri does a verbal sidestep and says she’s looking forward to conference play

Dang - I have DirecTV but haven't figured out a good way to know what WBB is on. Years back, their search feature worked, but not any more. I actually have printed schedules for a couple of the conferences, but only the Big 12 game of the week list.

Wasn't (apparently) much of the game. What in the hey happened to Oklahoma?
 
OU is awful this year. Coale has a great reputation and represents OU well but she has to be on the chopping block in the next year or two with how much money she gets paid (over 1 million per year). OU has been mediocre for a while now and barely snuck into the NCAAs last year. It appears theyll likely be on the outs this year.
 
I got tied up and won't see the game 'til today. Sherri's recruiting has not been strong. That's the long and short of it. Why that is? Sort of feeds on itself in both directions.
 
Players might straddle half court in order to go back if they see pressure. As long as both feet are not in front court then no over and back.
