I know it's pre-season. It's kind of a storyline though, Texas 3 pt shooting. They were 3-15 tonight. Thought it was interesting Laila Phelia got the start. Lastly, Rori looks like she's coming back right where she left off. She got injured later in the season than Azzi Fudd, but is back on the court looking like her normal self.

Vic's offense has never been a thing of beauty.

I have to say I am getting colder feet on Texas as we get closer.

They and UConn are kind of switching places in my mind. I'm getting higher on UConn and lower on Texas for some reason as we get closer.

Tennessee fired up 50 30’s and got 30 steals. Kinda a given but looked 100x more athletic than Harper’s team. All the team has talked about is doing sprints and long mile runs for preseason.

Will be interesting to see how it unfolds. Thought Spencer looked a lot better than at Arkansas.

Yes it’s Carson Newman but being at the game I haven’t seen that kind of effort in a long long time.

Favorite part about Caldwell is her pressers. You can tell she coaches them hard and doesn’t put up with BS and is more honest than I ever saw Warlick or Harper be. Their easier schedule allows them ease into the season. Will be following them excited to see how their pace does against some of the big guns esp those with short benches

Interested to see if Prawl, Hurst, Knox or Civil commit to them. Have a good feeling with all except Knox right now. Hurst got told that she couldn’t be a two sport athlete at TN but home grown kid

You're drawing that conclusion from one game that was 100% garbage time and the said 3-pt misses were from non-rotation players?

I hear u but not really from one game though. It's a criticism that's been said about Texas for the past couple of years. I think it was an issue in their elite 8 loss. In the off season I don't think they really addressed their 3 point shooting. Codio is healthier this season and is a good shooter. Phelia is definitely more of a slasher. Rori was good last year but teams like SC, Oklahoma, NC State UConn, even Iowa State, have a lot of 3 point shooting. Obviously time will tell.
