The best thing I love about Paige Bueckers is her ability to always include her teammates in her glory. Yes, she scored 40 points in this game, but she’s humble enough to not take all the credit for the win, because it‘s a team effort. She does this every time!! Go UConn!! Go Huskies!!

I was wondering the same thing. But at the very beginning of Oklahoma’s session, someone stated that a request was made to not give an opening statement was made.

I agree. The players showed a lot of class and genuine passion. And I was pleased to hear Payton’s praise for her coach for building a positive culture.
