Depends on the circumstances. We remain on a 12-0 run in the dance and 3-0 in Big East tourney runs as of now.

If we face Duke in Raleigh as an 8 it means we didn't win the Big East. (And I think the committee looks down on having Top conference winners face each other in Round 1 or 2).

If we are a 7 by virtue of winning 2 more and a close one with St. John's we will face Duke in Newark which I would love to see. 20 min PATH ride and I'm in Newark!

If we are a 7 by virtue of winning the Big East tournament and are on a 9-0 run heading to the dance on a 12-0 tear there, no one wants to play us.

Edit: I have seen Duke play in the NCAA tourney once - loss to NC State in last year's Elite 8 in Dallas; I have watched UConn in 13 NCAA tourney games total, and we won all of them. Not saying I am the good luck charm, but I saw 2 games this year regular season (@Texas, vs. Gonzaga) and had tickets to @Seton Hall but gave them up as had a family event and well they lost. Let's test my luck this Thursday as I will be in sec 107 for both evening games!

I'd love it. When you think of our program way back when Laettner destroyed the Dream Season and how we were begging for a FF.....then fast forward to now where maybe they have a little catching up to do, at least recently, to us? I'd welcome the dynamic of us vs them.
