Know all the new uniforms have been talked about a lot lately. This is a cool video on when the team found out about their new uniforms. No I don't think it will change anything on field, etc. But definitely gets the players and those surrounding the program excited.

That was an awesome video. Thanks for posting it. I've been a proponent for letting Nike make a ProCombat jersy for UConn, but I kinda forgot how much the fellas would love to wear something new and cool.

I guess it's a generational thing. I don't get it. If kids want to wear black jerseys so badly, why not play at a school that wears them every day like Cincinnati, Iowa, or Wake Forest. I wonder if players at those schools go nuts over the prospect of wearing a color other than black.

If anyone ever wondered if kids were influenced by uniforms, I guess this answers your question. Phil Knight and the University of Oregon were definitely ahead of the game on this one

I remember when I played D3 baseball back in the 70's and we went from the blousy flannel unis to the skin tight double knits --made you feel like superman. In hindsight, they look rediculous.

While we're talking about other school's unis... I really like the Oklahoma State new flat grey helmets and pants. Not sure if I would like it in an all-grey ensemble, but with the white (or maybe orange or black) jersey it looks good.
