UConn's next opponent is Ohio State on Sunday November 11, 2018. Here's a look at the Buckeyes for 2018- 2019.

The Buckeyes will have an exhibition game (IUP), and two D1 games under their belt before playing UConn. USF on Tuesday Nov 6, and Detroit Mercy on Friday Nov 9.

Ohio State has had a very good team over the last four years. In 2016-2017 and 2017-2018, the Buckeyes won at least a share of the Big Ten regular season title. But there has not been much NCAA Tournament success. And now Coach Kevin McGuff needs to replace the top six scorers. Kelsey Mitchell, Stephanie Mavunga, Linnae Harper and Sierra Calhoun were all double digit scorers and nobody who averaged over 3.5 points is returning. That leaves a lot of rebuilding to do, but five graduate transfers will help give the Buckeyes some much needed experience.

I don't think they will get past USF and then the slaughter may be on for Sunday. I hadn't realized the whole starting line up had graduated. Looks like a tough season for OSU.

tOSU lost 93% of their scoring from last years team. They replaced those players with 5 “mid-major” transfers. The game’s MOV will depend to a large degree on how long Geno keeps his starters in the game.

Any idea if the USF-tOSU game is streaming anywhere?

I would like to see both teams since we will need to deal with them soon enough.

It appears the game is on Big Ten Network Plus, an additional subscription to regular Big Ten Network, When I went to the tOSU game listing it said the below, same for USF schedule site

This video is BTN Plus content available on BTN2Go with the purchase of a BTN Plus Subscription.

I thought I might get away with ESPN+ some how being able to allow coverage of BTN+ like I did with the TN game yesterday on SECN+ but no luck.

I dont think OSU will be very good this year. And they will likely be even worse at the start of the year with a roster that is completely unfamiliar with each other.

Thank you Scoop, another good informative post, thanks

Maybe they have not had time to learn any of McGuff's bad defensive habits. ;)
Well, they'll certainly have the time to learn his bad offensive ones.

Yep. At least one. Maybe against Detroit Mercy as well.
Mercy was 2-28 last season. Both wins vs UIC, who’s HC was fired at the end of last season, probably for losing to Mercy. If tOSU were to lose to Mercy, McGuff should be immediately fired, run out of Columbus on a rail and never coach again.

Should happen anyway.

Don't get my hopes up.

I watched the first half of the Ohio St. vs USF game... Looked like 2 very bad D2 teams. Should be a major blow out Sunday, maybe 60+. Go Huskies!

I did not know you were that mean, oldude.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to see the tOSU game on CBSSN in real time this Sunday . Any idea how long it normally takes for the replay to appear on www.uconnhuskygames.com ??? That way, I have an idea how long I need to avoid any info on the game result.

It should be up in a week or two. Maybe three.

Based on time stamp, it seems to be same day so I was asking how many hours.
