Obviously Ohio State has been worn down by the Big 10 season.... they were fresh back in December :p
And of course, the next big question is: How high in the top 25 will South Florida be ranked on Monday? :)

I watched that game. I kept thinking that OSU was going to come back, but that requires some defense, so no.

:)

The poll last Monday was as follows:

21. Michigan (175)
22. Oklahoma St (92)
23. NC State (78)
24. TCU (72)
25. Arizona St (52)
26. West Virginia (46)
27t. South Florida (28)
27t. Belmont (28)
29. LSU (21)

#21 Michigan lost to unranked Michigan State today.
#23 NC State lost to unranked Miami on Thursday.
#24 TCU lost to #22 Oklahoma State and #3 Baylor.
#25 Arizona State lost to unranked USC and #8 UCLA.
#26 West Virginia lost to #6 Texas on Monday.
#29 LSU lost to unranked Auburn and beat #14 Texas A&M.

So: USF should for sure move ahead of West Virginia, Arizona State, and NC State. That would put them at #24.
They have a chance of overtaking TCU and Michigan as well, but who knows what the voters will do with LSU, which offset a bad loss with a good win.

BIG 10 is overrated. USF is a very solid team. Ohio State is not.

This should get you a few likes around here :p

Before today... the Bulls best win was vs LSU. The Big 10 may or may not be overrated...... but the Conference is #3 in RPI....... the Pac 12 is #5.... and correct me if Im wrong... but the Women's committee still puts some emphasis on RPI.

I don't believe the committee cares about conference RPI. Team RPI, yes.

You know what I meant

Even with the loss.... Ohio State slipped down to 6 in the RPI....... South Florida remains at 27

I just finished watching this game. South Florida played a really good game. Laksa, Jesperson, and Flores are all excellent players.

How did Ohio State get outrebounded by 20? Mavunga had six rebounds. How does Stephanie Mavunga get only six rebounds? Her teammates certainly weren't grabbing them away from her. USF certainly rebounds well, but do they rebound THAT well? Flores had more rebounds than Mavunga. It seemed that OSU wasn't playing with much desire.

Lets see,we beat the Shockers by 81,who beat USF by about 8,who beat Ohio St. by 19,so if we played Ohio St.,i think we might have a chance.

In case anyone is interested, Mitchell is now 339 points from tying Plum's all time scoring record. Only 4 regular season games left. She's not gonna get there. Doesn't look like a team that is going deep in March. W/ conference tourney and NCAA Tourney, maybe around 10 more games left in her career, give or take a little. She's 205 behind Stiles, she might not catch her either. She's 95 away from tying Griner, #3 all time should be in the bag.
