Laksa 3 + 1 point from career high. Her drought certainly over.
 
And OSU is the second best team in the Big 10.
 
Did Ohio St. Have a scout before this game? Don't they know that Laksa is a deadly shooter if you leave her alone?
 
OSU probably want's to spend a little time on the beach.

How long does McGuff have until he is fired ? They have underachieved during his reign and next year will be terrible.....several seniors leave and nothing coming in

She also put 36 on Notre Dame.
 
This is really a landmark win for USF. They've been stuck in a no man's land for a long time: not able to beat UConn, and thus forced to try to find *beatable* ranked opponents in their nonconference schedule, since the AAC doesn't have those.

He might want to bail anyway. Most of his starters are graduating and he hasn't been getting recruits. It's a decent place to coach though.

So the "7th graders" UConn beat yesterday actually beat the team that just beat #13 ranked Ohio State by 19. Weird.

What impressed me most about USF was there help defense. Time after time. the help came from the correct side at the correct angle and timing. That only happens with great scouting. On the other hand, OSU looked like they could not even name the USF players and were to busy soaking up rays.

I watched that game. I kept thinking that OSU was going to come back, but that requires some defense, so no.

The poll last Monday was as follows:

21. Michigan (175)
22. Oklahoma St (92)
23. NC State (78)
24. TCU (72)
25. Arizona St (52)
26. West Virginia (46)
27t. South Florida (28)
27t. Belmont (28)
29. LSU (21)

#21 Michigan lost to unranked Michigan State today.
#23 NC State lost to unranked Miami on Thursday.
#24 TCU lost to #22 Oklahoma State and #3 Baylor.
#25 Arizona State lost to unranked USC and #8 UCLA.
#26 West Virginia lost to #6 Texas on Monday.
#29 LSU lost to unranked Auburn and beat #14 Texas A&M.

So: USF should for sure move ahead of West Virginia, Arizona State, and NC State. That would put them at #24.
They have a chance of overtaking TCU and Michigan as well, but who knows what the voters will do with LSU, which offset a bad loss with a good win.

Before today... the Bulls best win was vs LSU. The Big 10 may or may not be overrated...... but the Conference is #3 in RPI....... the Pac 12 is #5.... and correct me if Im wrong... but the Women's committee still puts some emphasis on RPI.

I don't believe the committee cares about conference RPI. Team RPI, yes.

Even with the loss.... Ohio State slipped down to 6 in the RPI....... South Florida remains at 27
