Official: new uniforms

Hang on. People are claiming the new logo is more popular than the old one?
 
Need 89-90 throwbacks complete with nut hugger shorts. Short shorts are making a comeback.

I hope they roll out a bunch of the UConn legends numbers: 15, 34, 13, and 32. Priorities in that order

For all of my fellow UConn fans I personally know, it’s a general consensus that the old logo was much better. Very seldom do I come across someone who actively enjoys the new one. Do people tolerate it, sure, but no one really loves it.

Personally, I find myself going on eBay, to hopefully find throwback stuff, bc I can’t wear anything with the new logo. It looks like a elementary school mascot. Something you make on Word Art

Growing up we always heard "UConn." For me it was kind of strange hearing "Connecticut" because we just never referred to the school that way. Eventually I grew to prefer Connecticut and then we went back to officially being UConn. "Connecticut" also has much more of a B1G feel to it. :cool:

As a fan who came of age in the late 90s early 00s that side piping is a huge part of the UConn identity! It’s up there with UNC’s argyle if you ask me.
 
If carlton is actually 6’11” then javonte looks over 7ft to me

Honestly, the more I look at these new uniforms, the worse I feel about them.

There are good elements but there are definitely things they should have done differently.

I disagree. Think most people from the outside are very impressed. The Syracuse board even mentioned they were a little jealous. I think they look terrific. They don’t look great stand alone but on the players they look awesome. Bear in mine there will be up to 4 jerseys this year including some awesome alternates.

I bought one, but I don't love the back of the jersey. The real jerseys look fine with the names, but no name and only 1 digit looks off
