Metaphorically speaking I'd think of him as a crossover between Adam Zagoria and @FishyIs this Matt Jones guy legit, or some random dude with 501 followers?

Delusional Kentucky fans will watch this and say, well, he didn’t conclusively say no so we still have a chance.
He said she'd leave him if he left UConnAndrea Hurley is great but why are people making it out like he would've taken the job if not for her?
He was never leaving UConn for another college job.
Even if in jest, the post game comments for sure made it seem like she had a big influence, it’s not that much of a leap from the fans.Andrea Hurley is great but why are people making it out like he would've taken the job if not for her?

If Hurley did indeed reject a UK offer of 8 years/$100M, that was a rejection more epic than any Okafor block. LolHe’s got clout with UK fans but seems shady the way he “reports” things based on what I’ve seen the last few days. Lotta people on their message board call him out for BSing too.
Matt Jones is Matt Jones (… and has been for years) but he does have 306k+ followers. Is this Matt Jones guy legit, or some random dude with 501 followers?
I honestly think he's just an AI bot at this pointI was trying to come up with a comparison but you absolutely nailed it. Hilarious.
This is gonna be unpopular but I'll say it again: can we please try to leave the people who live in Kentucky alone? I don't care what some of their fans said. We are a passionate fan base, just like them. We were on pins and needles waiting for Hurley to decide when it was between us and Pitt. We know their situation as a proud program.
It seems we've got our staff in place again. Better for us to just go about our normal business and not trash another United State and our countrymen. Trash ME instead if you want.
Go Huskies
Some of the reactions from Kentucky fans are truly Vile. They treat women like sub-humans and think a few more extra millions would be "generational wealth" for Hurley.Andrea Hurley is great but why are people making it out like he would've taken the job if not for her?

You’re sounding like the UK fans. Hurley has said no like 5 timeswhy is it always "sources"....waiting for the official NO from horses mouth
You forgot to add: Unless you want to add Storrs, CT as your Northernmost outpost...HEY SEC...SCREW OFF!!!
Exactly. His dad turned down college offers to stay at a financially strapped inner city Catholic school. He’s about more than $$I suspect the fact that Hurley’s HOF father was a high school coach also works to our advantage. He likely already feels he is standing on the shoulders of a giant, neither programs like Kentucky nor the pros are going to do much more for his self-esteem.
People really shouldn't be repeating the Kentucky nonsense that it's all because of her. Those people are psychos.Andrea Hurley is great but why are people making it out like he would've taken the job if not for her?

And this is little overblownExactly. His dad turned down college offers to stay at a financially strapped inner city Catholic school. He’s about more than $$
Why…it shows he was raised in an environment where money wasn’t everything. I never said he wasn’t well paid, just that chasing every dollar is not the be all.And this is little overblown
He’s gonna be making generational money here
He’s VERY well taken care of
If UK wants to pay me $40M/year to be their coach, I'll begrudgingly accept the offer. My experience in coaching is 3 months coaching an 8th grade middle school rec league team. My rec team did win 1 more post-season game than Kentucky did in the NCAAT.
