Official Heckle The Hawks Game Thread

Larrier needs to sit on the bench. Seymore is torching him on defense and he forces shots on offense. Bad shots are just like turnovers.
 
One guy to stop and they can’t.

Instead of looking for contact and going aggressive to the rack, lofting floaters instead.

This Monmouth team sucks

The 7 minute FG drought featured several missed shots that were wide open. A few bunnies. Wide open 3s on 4 straight trips. etc.

We are always hot and cold on offense. There is no excuse for being cold on defense.

He shouldn’t play at all. He can’t guard their bigs and he is a total zero on offense.

This Monmouth team is better than its record - I've seen them play twice before - the played even with Nova up until about 8 minutes to go then committed too many fouls and saw them lose to Penn in OT with more foul issues. They are not a cupcake but UConn should not let them dictate pace

The word "pride" comes to mind. KO's teams post-Shabazz seem to lack it in a way that JC's teams rarely did.

I’ve had people tell me this week that we are what our record says we are. But when it comes to these cupcake opponents that we’re struggling with it’s “they’re better than their record”? Can’t have it both ways.

There is only one guy they need to guard on Monmouth and they let him run free.

People were saying that when Uconn had the ball up 29-20 because at that time it was true. They did look better. This offensive lull looks horrible though. Team is too inconsistent.

Not why we are behind but some calls have been really bad and on principle KO should have at least complained a little - PLEASE!

That’s KO’s trademark. Pout in his chair until the other team either comes all the way back or pulls completely away, then call a timeout with a bewildered look on his face about 5 possessions too late.
 
Their effort sucks. Monmouth is shooting 57 %. 10 minutes of good offense then what, they got TIRED? No excuse. Start planting guys on the bench
