Ollie is still forcing the inside game.. what friggin clown

What's the other answer?

Brimah is our second scorer with 9 points right now and nobody else had more than 4. We are shooting 13% from three. No other choice but to bang inside and hope Facey wakes up...

Huh?

Brimah has been awful, the couple of baskets don't make up for the awful defense and rebounding

Yes Brimah is the best player we have this year. Why do you think the game plan is to feed him the ball? Because he is the only one who has a chance to do something good with it. You see what this perimeter crew is doing out there(NADA). What's Facey doing out there(NADA). I feel bad for Amida having to put up with this type of senior season. Wait until next year how bad the defense will look compared to this year.

PS: Jalen Adams with another no show looking slow, lethargic, careless, etc out there. You can't have your 5 star point guard playing like this. This team and its players are soft and it shows. I won't even go into coaching.

Facey grabs his first two from the line. Hopefully the start of something more...

.-.
Facey again!! Keep going to him every possession...

Purvis and Adams are decent 3 point shooters. You send the rest to the boards and let the fast break go and trade 3 for 2s. The objective is to win not play better. Shots need to go up quickly. KO is trying to lose less.

We need guys turned to the hoop on the inside for offensive rebounding, not backs to the hoop looking for low post passes that take them out position. Once you're down 20 with 10 minutes left, you don't play low high post movement to establish an inside game. Just asinine.

That, and Calhoun's first UConn team ('86-87) went 9-19.

True enough, but in fairness, Calhoun was coaching in the Big East, which was a big difference. Wasn't that also the season during which we lost Gamble and Robinson to academics?

Vital playing big minutes against a good team isn't a good formula for success

Dude, just stop.

We've been colder than ice from the outside, and Facey had proven in the last four consecutive possessions that going to him was the right move. Stop blowing on the "Fire Ollie" horn every four minutes and being wrong about it...

...we also couldn't full court press all game because maybe you forgot we don't have any guards on the bench...

I'll cut you a break since we mostly agree, but you're out of your mind. This is simple mathematics at this point.

We were +14 today and might not cover. Jeez.

Some poster remarked that a friend of theirs has made a s***load of money betting against us against the spread this year. We're like 9-16.

When there is a slight opening, Durham's afraid to penetrate toward the paint when he has the ball on the perimeter. I can see why with the two ACLS, but still.

Where are the threads about UConn winning out after the Temple game?

And KO concedes with 2:30 on the clock. JC would play to the last second almost embarrassingly so.

That miss by Noyes summed up the game. Dribble. Penetrate. Kick to an open shooter. Air ball. (I'm not singling him out)

Rough day...

Thank God that's over...
I'm thinking we win a Thursday tourney game and then give it up on Friday.
It would be a merciful end to a lousy season.

LOL, but Noyes has been a little rusty
