I'm a big Jeter fan this year. For all intents and purposes the Yanks had a pitcher hitting in the 2-hole all year. Maybe if they had a ballplayer instead of a statue there they make the playoffs.

Nice effort from the Red Sox yesterday for Jeter's send-off. I was among those with the opinion that their attempted humor, at Mariano's expense, last year fell flat. But Jeter's thing was a home run all the way.
