In the comments, Shane said that the person did make their commitment yesterday and their announcement would be coming soon. Avery Howell’s mom liked the post, so maybe her announcement?

Maybe Kitts?? I know she is reclassifying for 2024. Maybe she will be top 25 when rankings are reshuffled. I’m just guessing though. Could be anyone honestly.

What Kitts are you referring to? Chloe has long been committed to Dawn. Is there another one?

I'm not actually sure that UConn recruited her that hard. Some HS guards are ball dominant out of necessity like Bueckers and Arnold were and can smoothly fit into UConn's motion, ball movement offense. Some are ball dominant by preference. Auriemma knows the difference and I trust his judgement on which are which.

Where was the knock? I described two types of ball dominant guards and left it to Auriemma to decide which one she was. That would determine whether UConn recruited her or not. I said I wasn’t sure how hard he recruited her. My opinion of her play style is immaterial to that so I didn’t state it. It doesn’t matter to me whether she had interest in UConn or she didn’t.

The criteria for this very early list are….different

MSE rankings are based on a player's character, talent, academics, pertormances at high-level tournaments/camps, overall team success, ability to impact games and long-term potential or upside.

Can't speak to her academics or team success but like I said when I first watched tape of Paige when she just entered high school......this kid is so talented she could play high-level D1 college ball by the time she was in 10th grade.........that same statement will apply to Kaleena Smith.....:)
